Lean Training:
Evergreen Team Concepts provides Lean 5S training, Lean manufacturing training, Lean healthcare management training, Lean service training, Lean office training, Lean distribution center training, Lean Six Sigma training and Leadership training all encompassed into one certification program, the Lean Leadership Certification. The tools and techniques taught in the Lean Leadership Certification are applicable to all industries.
Lean 5S training focuses on visual controls and workplace organizational tools. Lean 5S improves safety, decreases down time, raises employee morale, establishes convenient work practices, identifies problems more quickly, develops control through visibility and most important it empowers the employees.
Lean manufacturing training focuses on the production of goods using less of everything compared to traditional mass production: less waste, human effort, balance of workflow, manufacturing space, investment in tools, inventory and engineering time to develop a new product.
Lean healthcare training focuses on implementing Lean manufacturing principles to a healthcare environment. The lessons learned can significantly reduce patient waiting time for all transactions, increase productivity gains, and have huge affects on cycle time reductions in the healthcare industry.
With this brief definition of Lean healthcare training in mind we can immediately see that:
- Lean healthcare training drives organization-wide patient focus.
- Lean healthcare training challenges any consumption of resources, whether it be labor, materials or otherwise, if there is no benefit to the patient
- Lean healthcare training provides a mechanism to hone organizational performance for the benefit of patients, physicians and the healthcare system itself
Lean service training focuses on company reduced handling time, reduces agent variability, and reduces accent barriers and brings the attainment of perfect process adherence.
Lean office training focuses on administrative processes at all levels. Enterprise Level: streamlines and accelerates those processes that touch external customers and suppliers such as order entry, customer service, accounts payable/receivable processing, marketing/sales, R&D and distribution. Organizational Level: streamlines key support processes (e.g. Information Technology, Human Resources, Engineering, and Purchasing), identifies internal customer requirements and value, and improves communication and cross-functional cooperation. Departmental Level: focuses on objectives, reduces activities that add time but little value, measures progress to “takt time” (maximum time allowed producing a product in order to meet demand), creates flow to reduce hand-off breakdowns, implements pull and “Kanban” systems and uses visual management to identify issues. Individual Level: reduces paperwork, manual entries and errors using standard work procedures, improves organization using 5S, and clarifies individual roles, responsibilities, objectives and implements cross training .
Lean Six Sigma training focuses on not only the tools of lean manufacturing for greater speed, but also the techniques in Six Sigma for greater quality thereby getting a better cost for your product.
Leadership training focuses on how to not only direct the performance of team members or departments towards the achievement of organizational goals, but also the ability to cast a vision and training that takes the individual through a process where they gain a greater self-confidence, motivation, self-expression/communication skills and other traits of leadership.
The Lean Leadership Certification incorporates aspects from each of these sectors for the greater gain of the student in overall applicable lean knowledge and experience. The Lean Leadership Certification is project-based to provide an immediate ROI greater than the cost of the course or your money back!
